alanhinkel > There is a Sea Wall about 25-30 yards from the concrete barrier behind the metal one.The city imports sand for this beach,but the storm surge from Hurricanes Gustav and Ike made the water rise above the sea wall,sand,and road.During Katrina the water height was 20-25 feet above this.I live 0.6 miles from where this photo was taken.
